[Backdated to the beginning~]

The dim light shone through the windows of the room, hitting Jade's sleeping figure as he began to stir slightly. He sat up and used one hand to rub at his eyes sleepily.

Just as he was about to use his other hand to pick up his glasses, he found there was a cold steel against his skin. Raising his hand for inspection, he found that there was a manacle around his wrist and the chain on it led to another sleeping figure beside him. However, he found no need for alarm as he could see a familiar head of blonde hair.

He shook his head slightly as he used his free hand to pick up his glasses and place them upon his face. Jade found that this didn't shock him as much as it should have, as it was drowned in the curiosity as to how he might have gotten there, as well as the reason why. This was so utterly... random, even for the community, as he was assured that was the only way he could have gone from the Sheridan inn to Peony's room in the capital.

Instead of waking Peony, or bothering to inspect the shackle that binded him to the emperor, Jade proceeded to ponder about the situation, and how he should go about dealing with it. The chances of the shackle being easily destructable, were quite probable to end as slim to none.
